After you submit

A clear response from intake

Intake reviews the information, confirms the most suitable pathway and communicates what happens next.

We accept referrals from GPs, specialists, hospital discharge teams, home care providers, residential aged care facilities, allied health clinicians and community providers.

What happens next

What happens after you submit

  1. 1 · Same business day: referral acknowledged

We confirm that your referral has been received.

  2. 2 · By the next business day: clinical triage

Clinical intake reviews needs, risks, setting, urgency and the required clinical capability.

  3. 3 · Care begins

Urgent clinically appropriate care can commence by the next business day. Routine care commences within 3 business days.

Business hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays, in Brisbane time. Referrals received outside these hours are treated as received on the next business day. Response timeframes run from receipt during business hours.

Urgent care is subject to clinical suitability and service availability. Clinics GRP is not an emergency service; acute or unstable presentations require urgent medical assessment.

Reporting, review and escalation throughout care

We will contact you if key clinical information or documents are missing.
