Planned appointment

An operational leadership role for the next stage of Clinics GRP

This is not an office-manager role. The Operations Manager will take increasing ownership of the day-to-day operating performance of Clinics GRP and help turn growth into reliable, measurable and scalable service delivery.

Expected recruitment
Expected February–March 2027
Likely commencement
Likely May–July 2027
Indicative salary
$125,000–$135,000 + superannuation (indicative)

The role is expected to become active when Clinics GRP has the revenue trajectory, workflow maturity and founder-load pressure to justify the appointment. Current planning anticipates recruitment beginning around February–March 2027 and commencement in the May–July 2027 period.

The person appointed will work closely with the Managing Director, Clinical Director and administration leadership. Their job will be to make the organisation easier to run as it grows: improving throughput, making capacity visible, strengthening provider service, reducing operational leakage and building systems that prevent repeated problems from depending on individual intervention.

The opportunity

Make growth work operationally

Clinics GRP is expanding its clinical workforce, nursing capability and multidisciplinary service model. The Operations Manager will sit at the centre of the operating rhythm that supports that growth.

  • Own day-to-day operational performance across Clinics GRP.
  • Improve referral, intake, service commencement and provider communication workflows.
  • Monitor clinical capacity, utilisation, diary performance, cancellations and rebooking.
  • Strengthen administration workflows, accountability and service reliability.
  • Support operational onboarding and workforce-capacity planning as the clinical team grows.
  • Build useful KPI dashboards and make operational performance visible.
  • Identify repetitive work that can be simplified, automated or removed.
  • Lead adoption of new operational systems, including automation and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Resolve operational problems at the right level before they require director intervention.
  • Convert repeated founder-held knowledge into clear processes, responsibilities and systems.

Who we are looking for

A systems-minded operator

We are more interested in exceptional operational capability than a particular professional background. Clinical qualifications are not required. Healthcare experience is useful where it helps you understand regulated service delivery, but the defining capability is the ability to build and run better systems.

  • Strong operations-management experience in a growing service organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to redesign workflows rather than simply work around problems.
  • Commercial and financial literacy, including comfort with utilisation, labour cost, capacity and margin.
  • Confidence using data to identify bottlenecks and monitor performance.
  • Strong people leadership, accountability and change-management capability.
  • Comfort with technology, automation and AI as practical operating tools.
  • Calm judgement when priorities compete and circumstances change quickly.
  • Healthcare, allied health, aged care, disability, home care or another distributed service environment is useful but not mandatory.

What success should look like

A business that becomes easier to run as it grows

Success will be measured through operational and commercial outcomes rather than activity alone.

  • Clinical capacity is converted into sustainable revenue with less operational leakage.
  • Referrals move quickly and visibly from intake to first service.
  • New clinicians ramp through a predictable operational onboarding process.
  • Administrative workload grows materially slower than clinical capacity.
  • Provider commitments and communication standards are met reliably.
  • Operational issues are increasingly resolved without founder intervention.
  • Technology and automation remove repetitive work rather than add another layer of process.
