Physiotherapy

New Graduate Physiotherapist

Join the GPY1 intake of a two-year new graduate physiotherapy program in Brisbane. GPY1 is the entry position; GPY2 follows as the second year of development for graduates progressing from GPY1.

Graduate intake

At least four GPY1 positions are available, with capacity to appoint a fifth. There is no separate GPY2 intake.

What the role offers

Entry through GPY1 into a structured two-year pathway; GPY2 follows as the second year for progressing graduates.
Regular supervision, Learning Pod sessions, case review and support with unfamiliar presentations.
A gradual, capability-led increase in caseload, complexity and responsibility across relevant clinical settings.
A final GPY2 capability review and evidence portfolio informing the next stage of development.

Essential requirements

Recognised tertiary physiotherapy qualification and current or pending eligibility for AHPRA registration.
Final-year students are welcome where they will be eligible for registration before commencing employment.
